Today I’ve made a promise to myself that I will try to write every day. My goal is to get better at writing and the only way to improve is to practice, practice, practice. So, this is where I shall practice and create my new habit.
Honestly, it feels like I’m just throwing my thoughts into a great black abyss where nobody will read this. But so be it, I must carry on and push myself up the hill.
Today is the first day of Fall. Which means summer has ended, kids are back in school, and the tree leaves will start to change colors. Fall in Michigan is very pretty.
With this seasonal transition, I’ve also had a transformation. My whole life, I have been a soccer player, now that I am coaching there is a shift in perception. I am seeing the world from another angle. It is not good and not bad, just different.
A conversation I had with my husband this morning was about Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren. The news media stated that Elizabeth Warren has taken the lead over Joe Biden for the Democratic party.
I can see why Joe Biden is running for President. He’s had years of experience in politics and he’s probably had an overwhelming amount of support to run. Still, it’s a political game.
Soccer is a game, politics is a game, company management is a game, money is a game. All games have strategical moves, power plays, and managing of perceptions. Life is full of games and the winners are the survivors.
The question now is, which game are you best at playing? Which game do you need to get better at?
I guess you could also say LIFE is a game, you cannot sit on the sidelines. You must take control, be positive and take a failure as a lesson. I have learned a lot of lessons.
